Abstract

High-resolution Fourier-transform spectra of a gold hollow cathode in the 1–5.3-μm region have been used to improve the energy-level analysis of Au i. The analysis of 29 new near-infrared lines also yielded hyperfine-splitting constants for three Au i levels.
