Abstract

Nine Stark-tuned infrared–infrared double-resonance (IIDR) signals were obtained when CHD2F was investigated, using isotopically labeled CO2 lasers. An interesting range of IIDR patterns was observed and analyzed, using a spectrum simulation program. From the analysis of these data, the following values of the a component of the dipole moment were derived: μa0 = 1.85, D, μa5 = 1.85 D, and μa6 = 1.87 D. We have also been able to assign a number of strong optically pumped far-infrared laser lines in CHD2F and to predict some new lines.
