Abstract

Spectra emitted from laser-produced plasmas of Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, and Fe are recorded in the region 50–180 Å. Transitions from 3s4l, 3p4l, and 3d4l levels to the 3, 3 complex were identified, and a large number of previously unknown 3l4l levels are established. The identifications are supported by ab initio and parametric calculations and by isoelectronic studies.
