Abstract
Ultraviolet broad emission from was observed in a crystal under pump by a Nd:YAG laser. The two-photon simultaneous absorption process is found to be responsible for the UV emission based on the fluorescence intensity dependence on the pump power as well as the related spectroscopic analyses.
