Abstract

The method of extension of the spatial-frequency spectrum in rainbow holography with a synthesized slit is described. When a two-dimensional transparent object is illuminated with diverging spherical waves emanating from a point source the synthesized slitlike can be formed in the conjugate plane of the point source. It is proved by computer calculations that the cutoff frequencies with our method are obviously enhanced when the optical parameters in the suggested optical configuration are properly selected. Theoretical analysis and calculating curves are presented.
