Abstract

Bragg diffraction of electromagnetic waves from slanted volume holographic gratings with the diffracted beam approaching grazing incidence has been studied. In particular, interesting nonanalytic perturbation behavior was obtained by using a coupled-wave analysis. Additionally, a perturbation approach is presented for completeness.
