Diffraction effects in moiré deflectometry: comment

Abstract

Principles of the shearing interferometry method using the self-imaging (Talbot) effect of diffraction gratings are recalled. On this basis it is shown that the recently described moiré deflectometry technique corresponds to the well-established method known as Talbot interferometry.
