Abstract

Propagation and scattering for a time-harmonic electromagnetic plane wave obliquely incident upon a uniaxial bianisotropic half-space are considered. The approach is based on an identification of the downgoing and upgoing eigenmodes. The propagating eigenmodes are then used to calculate the reflection coefficients for TE and TM modes. The Brewster angles are analyzed and computed numerically.
