Abstract

The 3p63d9–3p53d10 transitions in the cobaltlike ions Ba29+, La30+, Nd33+, Sm35+, Gd37+, Dy39+, Er41+, and Yb43+were observed with a laser-produced plasma and a 2.2-m grazing-incidence spectrograph. Predicted wavelengths were obtained for the 3p63d9 2D3/22D3/2 magnetic dipole transitions in Mo15+, Xe27+, and W47+.
