Abstract

Periodic stacks with alternating refractive indices n<sub>1</sub> and n<sub>2</sub> (where n<sub>1</sub>⋍ n<sub>2</sub>) strongly reflect over a narrow spectral bandwidth. The effects of absorption and thickness errors are analyzed.
