Abstract

The beam-foil spectroscopy method has been used to measure the first radiative lifetimes of several levels in Ti ivvii from transitions observed between 400 and 800 Å. In Ti iv our lifetime results are in agreement with theoretical values. No theoretical values are available for comparison in Ti v, Ti vi, and Ti vii.
