Abstract

We have used the hook method to measure the gf value of 8.39 × 10<sup>-3</sup> for the 6<i>s</i><sup>2</sup><sup>1</sup><i>S</i><sub><i>o</i></sub>-6<i>s</i>6<i>p</i><sup>3</sup><i>P</i><sub>1</sub> intercombination line at 7911.38 Å of Ba I.
