Mie scattering between any two angles

Abstract

In many applications of Mie scattering theory, it is necessary to calculate an amount of electromagnetic energy scattered into a definite solid angle. In the past, the requisite integral over the Mie scattering phase function has been done numerically. We show that such integrals can be done analytically.
