Abstract

The hyperfine structures of four lines in 83Kri have been measured with a precision of 0.0001 cm−1. The light source was a Geissler tube containing helium at 1.0 Torr and krypton 83 at 0.05 Torr. The capillary was observed side-on and was cooled with liquid nitrogen. The hyperfine structures were resolved with a Fabry-Perot interferometer and were recorded photographically.
