TABLE I Total color difference ΔE between color 1 and color 2 given by the tristimulus values X, Y, Z for the CIE standard illuminant D65 and the CIE 1964 standard observer for colorimetry (X0 = 94.811, Y0 = 100, Z0 = 107.334). The color difference is calculated using formula (1) ( Δ E a b * ), using the extended formula, Eqs. (4) and (5), with α = 7.751 and γ = 0.01 for Δ E a b + with α = 7.787 and γ = 0.008 856 for Δ E a b + + , and using the Adams–Nickerson (AN40) formula denoted by ΔE (AN40).
