Abstract
A temperature-measurement technique is described that compares measurements of the radiated power of a source with its radiated photon flux. The ratio of such measurements is shown to be a direct function of temperature of a graybody source. For nongraybody sources, the technique yields Kelvin temperatures that are the equivalent of the best-fit graybody.
