Abstract

To date 268 even and 255 odd atomic energy levels in Th I have been found. The lowest level of the configuration 5<i>f</i> 6<i>d</i> 7<i>s</i><sup>2</sup> is <sup>3</sup><i>H</i><sub>4</sub><sup>0</sup> and lies 7795.27 cm<sup>-1</sup> above the ground level <sup>3</sup><i>F</i><sub>2</sub> of 6<i>d</i><sup>2</sup> 7<i>s</i><sup>2</sup>, Some levels of 5<i>f</i> 6<i>d</i><sup>2</sup> 7<i>s</i> and 6<i>d</i><sup>2</sup> 7<i>s</i> 7<i>p</i> are identified.
