  1. These pictures are not shown because they will not reproduce satisfactorily by any but photographic means. The real object was illuminated by the same laser beam for both the conventional photograph and the hologram recording. Care was taken to illuminate the object when it was photographed so that it exhibited the same highlights as when it was in the hologram-producing arrangement.
