Abstract
Equations relating monochromatic dye density to exposure for positive developing diazotype foils are derived for the case of monochromatic actinic illumination. The influence of maximum dye density and initial diazo actinic density on the general sensitometric behavior is examined, and the theory is extended to the case of polychromatic dye absorption. Calculated sensitometric functions are shown to be in good agreement with experimental sensitometric data.
