The convergence ophthalmic ergograph designed by the authors for measuring the relative fatigue of the extrinsic ocular muscles. The internal recti muscles are caused to contract by varying the strength of a prism placed in the line of vision of one eye. The strength of the eye-muscles involved is determined by the “amount of prism” which can be counteracted in maintaining single vision or perfect binocular fusion.
