Abstract

A brief review is given of the various methods considered for measuring heat flow. The heat flow meter as developed for heat transfer measurements is described and data presented substantiating the basic claims made for it. The calibrating apparatus, the constancy of calibration, and the application of the meters to actual measurements of heat flow through a roof are included in the paper.
