Abstract
Unlike the many “comprehensive” books on optical communications, DWDM
focuses strictly on the technology, its enablers, and its system implications. There
are no general chapters on optical data formats, on receiver types, or on legacy
telecommunications networks. Instead, the book covers only DWDM-related topics, and
it covers them very well.
