Abstract

In this study, the interaction of in-plane and out-of-plane resonances of heptamer oligomer nanoapertures is studied. Nanoaperture systems in this paper are investigated using the finite-difference time-domain method. Our results suggest that new plasmonic modes are created as a result of the in-plane plasmonic superradiant/ subradiant modes and out-of-plane modes due to the interaction of central and lateral nanoholes.
