Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel voltage programmed pixel circuit with p-type low temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistors (LTPS TFTs) for active-matrix organic light-emitting displays (AMOLEDs) with an enhanced electrical stability and uniformity. Through extensive numerical analysis based on experimental data of p-type LTPS TFT and OLED, we confirm that the proposed pixel circuit can compensate for both the mobility variation and threshold voltage shift of TFTs.
