Abstract

Eastman I-N and I-L spectroscopic plates have a high contrast emulsion covering a wide wavelength range. The similiarity of their characteristics suggest that only one of these emulsion types is necessary to satisfy the requirements of semi-quantitative spectroscopic analysis. It is anticipated that such a standardization will expedite the delivery of the chosen emulsion, since both I-N and I-L emulsions are manufactured in small batches when a sufficient backlog of orders has been received.
