Abstract

Previous work from this laboratory on heterogeneous chemical reactions such as those of black carbon with gaseous species of atmospheric interest (ozone and oxides of nitrogen or sulfur) and the photodegradation of polymers has been carried out under ordinary laboratory conditions of concentration, temperature, and pressure in cells, which have been designed to interface with a spectrometer.
