Resolution Limit of an IR Interferometer

Abstract

A physical method for determining the resolution limit of an interferometer is based on the Fourier comparison of a fixed frequency oscillator with the modulated frequency of a He-Ne reference laser. This technique replaces the usual gas measurement for most calibrations.
