Abstract

A simple and relatively fast method for determination of primary, secondary, and tertiary amines by ¹H-NMR is described. This method has the advantage of requiring a small amount of sample (15 to 25 mg) and indicating the presence of all three classes of amines in a single ¹H-NMR spectrum.
