Abstract

Both the infrared and Raman spectra have been observed for halogen-containing apatites such as calcium fluorapatite and chlorapatite. However, only the infrared spectrum has been observed and interpreted for calcium bromapatite. In this study, its Raman spectrum was observed and analyzed in terms of the spectra obtained earlier for calcium fluorapatite and chlorapatite.
