Abstract

Relative abundance of daughter ions resulting from cleavage of 4-aminoazobenzene dyes across the C-N<sub>α</sub> and C-N<sub>β</sub> bonds of the azo group can be related to the photochemical stability of these dyes on synthetic fibres.
