Vibrational Spectra and Force Constants of MoO42− and MoS42− Containing 92Mo and 100Mo Isotopes

Abstract

The Raman and infrared spectra of Na<sub>2</sub>MoO<sub>4</sub>, K<sub>2</sub>MoS<sub>4</sub>, and Cs<sub>2</sub>MoS<sub>4</sub> with <sup>92</sup>Mo and <sup>100</sup>Mo have been measured. The exact force field has been determined from these spectra. The results are compared with those obtained by using various approximation methods.
