Abstract

Although several investigators have made gas–liquid chromatography and infrared studies of alcohols, organic carbonates, and oxalates, there have been no reports of the separation of ethyl alcohol (ETOH), diethyl carbonate (DEC), and diethyl oxalate (DEC) together in a single mixture or as a ternary mixture.
