Abstract

According to a private communication, the well-known potassium bromide pellet technique for the sodium chloride range seems to be extended by the potassium iodide pellet technique for the cesium iodide range with equally satisfying results. Deviations in the shapes of absorption bands after the usual preparation of such disks have stimulated these investigations.
