Abstract

The camera described is designed for use with typical cylindrical powder specimens and also for bulky specimens frequently encountered in metallurgical research. Partly on account of its large radius, it is capable of yielding high spectral resolution and lattice parameters to an accuracy of approximately 0 002% in favorable cases. In its present form, the camera may be used with the specimen lying in the temperature range—190°C to 200°C.
