Filing KBr Pellets

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A convenient way to file KBr Pellets is to cut thin-walled polyethylene tubing into 2" lengths, staple each in the middle to make two compartments, and close filled compartment with a staple (or paper clip, temporarily). Small pieces of card with file numbers are attached with scotch tape to outside. Contents are visible. The flat pellet files are stored in a desiccator to keep in a dry atmosphere. File information is easily kept on 3" × 5" cards, 10 to a card.
