Abstract

Experimental conditions for measuring inverse Raman spectra from liquid samples are examined in both the nonresonant and resonant cases. In the resonant case, broad guidelines are proposed for deciding the sample concentration (absorbance) and the wavelengths of the probe and pump lasers in relation to the absorption band.
