New Deputy Editor for Photonics Research
Photonics Research welcomes new Deputy Editor, Prof. Yu-Ao Chen. Prof. Chen is a professor of experimental physics at the University of Science and Technology of China, where he is also chief engineer for the Quantum Communication Beijing-Shanghai Backbone. He is a Fellow of APS and OSA, recognized for outstanding contributions to photonic quantum information and quantum simulation. Prof. Chen's editorial experience includes serving as an associate editor for npj Quantum Information and on the editorial board for PRX Quantum. His current research activities include work in the areas of linear optical quantum information processing, quantum communication with linear optics and atomic ensembles, and quantum simulation with ultra-cold atoms.
