Microscopic surface structure of the 160 mm spherical mirror of a bare C/SiC composite. Left figures are the results of 3D measurements with a microscopic interferometer and right figures are photographic images. Top, middle, and bottom figures show the flat part, spherical part, and jointed part of the mirror, respectively. For further details, see the paper by Enya et al., pp. 2049-2056.
