Abstract
The generation of broadband tunable optical pulses is demonstrated in the range of with noncollinear optical parametric amplification of white-light seed pulses in potassium titanyl phosphate (). Pulse bandwidths of () are demonstrated with pulse energies up to when pumped with , pulses centered at . The required signal–pump angles range from to . The pulse duration was after compression.
