Characteristic Frequencies from Infrared and Elastic Data

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

The concept of a characteristic frequency from infrared data has been compared with elastic data for dielectric solids. A relationship between the characteristic centro-frequency and a similar frequency derived from purely elastic data has been established. The application to metallic solids is reviewed.
