Abstract
The light-scattering accessory for Beckman DK spectrophotometers consists of a unit which fits over the cell compartment utilizing the sample beam of the spectrophotometer to illuminate the light-scattering cell. A photomultiplier tube can be rotated around the cell, allowing the ratio of scattered light to reference light to be recorded as a function of angle, wavelength, polarization, or time. A high degree of versatility has been designed into the instrument.
