Abstract

In this paper one-step rainbow holography that uses a dual lens for recording a three-dimensional diffuse object is discussed. During the exposure process, only one of the lenses is moved so that a synthetic slit is formed at the observation position. Both of the lenses can have a shorter focal length, which has the effect of expanding the visual field and narrowing the synthetic slit. This method simplifies the experimental technique needed for synthetic-slit holography.
