Electro-optic SLM-based architecture for ternary phase/amplitude filtering

Abstract

A new architecture for ternary phase/amplitude spatial light modulation is presented. Based on a polarization-modulating spatial light modulator, the new architecture may be realized by using available spatial light modulators and additional optics.
