The Quasi-Parallel Light Concept and Applications

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A technique is shown by which it is possible to design an optical system so that the ray pattern is contained within truly parallel boundaries for a certain length, beyond which it starts diverging. It is also shown that it is possible to convert this quasi-parallel pattern into that of a well-defined hollow cone, a thin flat sheet or a thin-walled tube or trough.
