Abstract
We looked into what was required to make an artificial source similar to CIE daylight D65 spectral power distribution. As a result, an artificial light source was developed with its 300–700-nm relative spectral power distribution similar to that defined by CIE D65, based on a quartz–halogen lamp and colored absorbing glass filters in a side-by-side arrangement.
