Making this evaporated silicon carbide toroidal mirror was a joint effort. Stephen Fantone furnished the expertise to test the mirror optically. Ben Fuchs provided the inspiration and polishing knowledge. Frank Cooke devised and made the special machinery needed and kept the ball rolling.
