Abstract

Multiple aperture holographic interferometry is a simple method of detecting several types of displacement pattern by using small apertures in a rotatable mask in front of a holographic plate. This paper shows the possibility of applying the method to the observation of growing plant movement. The measurements of temporal change of plant and three components of displacement vector are made and the measuring accuracy is discussed.
