Abstract

A condition of optical systems for image transmission with the same magnification for transverse and longitudinal directions (orthomorphic image transmission) is found for the lens beam guide and for the focusing medium (Selfoc lens). This condition is verified visually, and also by taking holograms, for the orthomorphic images transmitted by the lens beam guide and by the Selfoc lens to satisfy the orthomorphic condition.
