Abstract
The pure rotational lines of H2O, the ν2 band of CO2, and the ν1 band of OCS were simultaneously recorded by a Fourier transform spectrometer. The resolution achieved was ~0.0045 cm−1, and the precision of the line position was typically 3.6 × 10−5 cm−1 or 1.2 MHz (standard deviation). The spectrum improves the accuracy of wave numbers of calibration lines in the region between 500 and 720 cm−1 by a factor of ~10.
