Self-supporting carbon glass films: a PAS standard sample?

Abstract

The preparation of self-supporting carbon glass films is described. Their spectral and photoacoustic parameters are presented indicating that these films are an optimum choice as standard samples for photoacoustic spectroscopy with gas-coupled microphones.
